For Your Family

It is important for any family to spend quality time together, but it is also essential for each member to have their space. Small families do not experience too many problems in terms of space, but larger ones must find a way to provided some much needed 'me-time' for everybody, both children and adults. In that sense, efforts must be made in order to make sure that no one person invades another one's space. For instance, children should be taught to put their toys away after they have finished playing with them, instead of dropping them randomly once they are done. The bicycle in the driveway is the classic example of this. Adults have their own variety of toys, e.g. dad's tools. When they are not being used, tools belong in a toolbox, and the toolbox in the garage. The key is to realize that everyone in the family, regardless of age or rank, is entitled to their own space in the household.
