Decoration Wrap Up

Every holiday and fun party must come to an end eventually, but that doesn't mean all those beautiful decorations have to go to waste or be thrown in the trash. After all, throwing them away will just mean buying more next year, which is a huge waste of time and money. Plus, having the same decorations year after year is a great way to make and keep family traditions. However, it's not a good idea to just throw all the decorations in a box and then let them sit until next year. That is an easy way to end up with a box full of broken, dusty, and virtually useless decorations.

Instead wrap each decoration up carefully and separately in plastic bubble wrap, foam, or even in plastic bags if that is all that is on hand. Then put like decorations together in marked boxes. So, for example, all Christmas ornaments and decorations would go in one box and all Easter decorations in another. Take special care with ornaments and any breakable or fragile items. They should always be housed on the top of the box and wrapped more thickly than other items.
