Organizing Your Memories
For those who collect photographs, ticket stubs, and other mementos of special occasions, organizing all of these special little tidbits can seem impossible. Most people tuck their photos away in shoe boxes or plastic containers and shove them under the bed where they don't get to be seen or enjoyed, or worse, they simply pile all their photos or mementos into a big, jumbled pile where they can easily get bent, torn, and otherwise damaged. The best way to keep those memories intact is to get them organized, and it's a lot easier than most people think.
With photos and other special items, it's best to put them in categories, based on the time period or specific activity that they are from. Later, they can be used in scrapbooks or, if desired, just kept in the organizational piles. So, for example, for those who are planning on scrapbooking or saving their items according to event, all photos from Christmas celebrations would go in one box or pile and all photos from Halloween celebrations would go in another. In chronological order, baby pictures, for example, would go from the oldest photos to the most recent.
